London Fashion Week Men’s Autumn Winter season saw Christian Louboutin displaying the brand’s enduring commitment to supporting London based designers. This season the focus was on E.Tautz and Mowalola.
Christian Louboutin’s twelfth consecutive collaboration with E.Tautz premiered a new, exclusive style inspired by the classic menswear shape Vittorio. This pared back slip on stayed true to the inspiration of the show. Muted shades of ecru, white, red and black sat atop slim lined outer soles giving the shoes a simple, elegant, modern cut and finished with a flash of that very famous red sole.
The shoes complemented a cohesive collection of impeccably tailored and generously cut trousers, jackets and outerwear, shown largely in a palette of ecru, burgundy, emerald and navy.
Sunday’s Fashion East line up featured recent Central St. Martin’s graduate Mowalola.
Mowalola’s vision of freedom through exposure saw her magnify the contrasts that characterize her aesthetic, with an exploration into provocation and pleasure.
Custom Christian Louboutin knee high boots; Tokyo Zip from the brands current collection were created in tones of bright blue, plum suede and lemon yellow. These were paired with tight bodysuits and micro-minis.
While the men’s Palace Boots walked down the runway in in fiery orange suede, black patent and Positano blue- complementing psychedelic vinyl trousers and cut out shirts.
