Classic menswear fabrics and precise tailoring clashed boldly with streetwear codes and disruptive trompe l’oeil prints for ICOSAE’s Fall Winter 2018-2019 collection. Entitled “Unrecognized Youth’ Spirituality,” the designer Valentin Glémarec used the runways of Paris Fashion Week Men’s to explore the complex relationships between religion and our society, today’s ‘Gods’ and icons.
For the occasion, two Christian Louboutin styles – low-top Louis and Aurélien – a mid-top mixing streetwear influences and Italian craftsmanship - were customised in the spirit of the collection in a unique combination of mixed materials. The pristine white canvas of each sneaker splashed with a bold red, seen on Christian Louboutin’s iconic soles and also as a recurring thread in ICOSAE’s collections. Christian Louboutin’s masterful, minimal Papal boot also made an appearance in black leather. This is the second season collaborating for the two brands.
Custom styles created for ICOSAE will debut in the Christian Louboutin collection this autumn. See more from the show @LouboutinHomme.
