Men's Spring/Summer 2024
Paris, June 23rd, 2023
To celebrate its Men’s Spring/Summer 2024 collection, Christian Louboutin hosted a collection presentation followed by a party during Paris Fashion Week at Le Dernier Etage, an industrial rooftop terrace with a 360° stunning view of Paris.
Bathed in the pink sunset light of a Parisian summery night, the event was an invitation to time travel into the iconic 90's era and legendary years of basketball, at the heart of the designer’s inspiration for the reveal of its new sneakers: Astroloubi.
Introducing the Astroloubi : Christian Louboutin's new must-have sneaker
Haven’t you heard? There’s a new sneaker on the block and it’s as fresh as they come. Meet the Astroloubi! A bold, 90’s street-style inspired silhouette borrowing the aesthetic of the era’s iconic basketball and skate sneakers.
Launching in five colorways including 90’s brights, cool pastels and a pared-back minimalist version, each iteration comes in an exciting mix of materials and textures such as luxurious smooth calfskin leather, soft suede, sleek satin and laminated nappa.
The trimmings details, strong graphic lines, signature spikes on the back counter, ‘CL’ varsity logo on colorful outsole and that ubiquitous red sole, are all hallmark elements celebrating the Maison’s unique style. Featuring a sporty technical silhouette, the construction of the Astroloubi is bursting with innovations.
The studied assembly of the upper elements onto a stretch, lightweight, knitted tongue associated to the flexible sport’s lasting construction and light cupsole, will cradle and cushion your foot like never before.
Talking about comfort, our lightest low-top sneaker ever produced is, 20% lighter than its all-leather counterparts and, for the first time, granted a featherlight, breathable lycra-covered open foam Loubi red footbed as well as a durable, fast drying, red lining. Ballers need to bounce… They will fly!

The Loubi Show II
On Friday September 30th, Christian Louboutin presents The Loubi Show II in Paris, a concept with an original dance performance, illustrating the Spring/Summer 2023 collection. For the second season in a row the Maison proposes a live show to present its creation following the success of the Loubi Show I presented in March 2022 at Espace Niemeyer.
I've always been fascinated by dancers and people on stage. These women performing in marvelous costumes, standing in heels, going down vertiginous stairs with an inexpressible elegance.
Christian Louboutin
The show takes place at the Gustave Eiffel Room located in the heart of the Eiffel Tower, one of the world's most recognizable landmarks. A powerful and distinctive symbol of the city of Paris, beloved home to Monsieur Louboutin. Set on the first floor overlooking the Parisian skyline, the space exhibits a transparent made-to-measure glass bridge stage supported by a red metallic frame featuring Christian Louboutin's signature heart. The bridge is placed in the center of the room providing a 360° view of the performance and the collection. The floor is covered by the house' iconic red carpet, evincing one of the Maison's most important color codes throughout the room.
And now let the Loubishow begin...
The show consists of thirteen diverse dancers wearing the Spring/Summer 2023 collection including a selection of fluorescent styles and the new LIPSTRASS HEEL, bringing the shoes to life. Interpreting a contemporary choreography, the performance gradually transfigures from a robotic movement into a humanized and emotional piece.
The sunset and final show features a live performance by French Dream Pop singer Vendredi Sur Mer, whose songs accompany the entire choreography. Amongst those, new singles from her latest album Metamorphose as well as one of her biggest hits ECOUTE CHERIE.
In addition to the shoes worn by the dancers during the performance, Christian Louboutin's is also unveiling more Spring/Summer 2023 styles beautifully displayed on metallic sinuous plinths. Focusing on new silhouettes and exquisite colors, the selection includes soft pastel styles and the new LOUBILA chain shoulder bag.
In order to create a connection between the digital and physical universes of the House, Christian Louboutin also offers a unique Web3 experience.
The House will gift a complimentary NFT (non-fungible token) to viewers of the exclusive online streaming of the "Loubi Show II," as well as to those lucky enough to see the show live at the Eiffel Tower. Attendees will receive a QR code that allows them to obtain a POAP designed by the House: the acronym for Proof Of Attendance Protocol, an NFT attesting to their presence at an exclusive event. A POAP is an NFT, therefore it is unforgeable and impossible to copy. POAPs are unique digital collectibles created in celebration of life's remarkable moments.
L'Exhibition[niste] Chapter II
L'Exhibition[niste] Chapitre II
The large-scale exhibition, Christian Louboutin, L’Exhibition[niste], returns this summer in a new form and will be presented by the Grimaldi Forum Monaco from July 9 to August 28, 2022.
This second chapter will be devoted to the work and imagination of Christian Louboutin, the shoe designer and key figure in the world of fashion, who has drawn much inspiration from the Principality.
Christian Louboutin, L’Exhibition[niste], Chapter II has been redesigned by its curator, Olivier Gabet, Director of the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, and will offer the public a new perspective on his work. Across a spectacular 2,000 m2 set, it will unveil previously unseen pieces related to the designer’s Monegasque inspirations, as well as new collaborations.
When Monaco organises exhibitions, they ensure free expression because the locations that host them can be transformed at will. At the Grimaldi Forum, I saw Bacon and Giacometti, two exhibitions that were conceived completely differently. There was a freedom in their design and narration that allowed me to re-imagine my own exhibition without constraint.

Spring/Summer 2023 Men's presentation
Paris, June 23rd, 2022
This season, Christian Louboutin and Highsnobiety will host a collection presentation at Georges, within the iconic Le Centre Pompidou, the Parisian cultural hub for contemporary art.
It's at the top of this building, facing one of the most breathtaking view of Paris, that Christian Louboutin ties in with Highsnobiety to celebrate together, the launch of the Men Spring/Summer 2023 collection and preview the newest line: Dune.
Conceived as an immersive experience highlighting a combination of Christian Louboutin and Highsnobiety’s creative universes, guests head to the rooftop terrace of Le Centre Pompidou, taking tubular escalators built on a red concrete base. Upon arrival, they walk through a futuristic outdoor corridor comprised of red plinths in different heights inspired by the graphic red and black notches soles of the Dune line.
On them, a selection of dazzling evening shoes, new styles from the inclusive capsule Our Angels, and leather goods from new Techno CL perforated leather pattern are displayed.
The experience continues late into the evening with a cocktail party and musical performances in the space inspired by the collection’s graphic red soles. The floor to ceiling bay windows are covered with a gradient red filter, the soft haze creating the effect of an all-day sunset over the city of Paris.
Inside the space, a central scenography made of four aluminum panels arranged in a circular shape form a futuristic cocoon showcasing the new hero shoe: the Dune lug sole. Taking inspiration from the Maison’s signature niche displays, the Christian Louboutin and Highsnobiety designed panels serve to highlight eight variations of the newest addition to the collection.
After sunset, the party kicks into high gear with a 1-hour live performance by London-based musician CKTRL, best known for his modern sound which mixes classical jazz with electronic music elements, followed by DJ sets by Emma B, Kim Turnbull and Broodoo Ramses.
The Loubi Show - Women FW22
Christian Louboutin presents the Loubi Show
Dance has always been a source of inspiration to me. I started as an intern at Les Follies Bergeres in Paris, helping the dancers with their everyday life. I wanted to design shoes for them. They were like night birds to me.
Christian Louboutin
Performed by nine eclectic and instinctive dancers, the contemporary dance performance has been imagined as a tribute to one of Christian Louboutin first dreams, designing shoes for dancers. Set to bespoke music written by Natasha Atlas, the energy and rhythms emanating from the performers brings life and movement to a selection of styles from the Fall/Winter 2022 women’s collection. Utilizing lights and curtain motions, the dancers reveal the Hot Chick Sling, a new iconic style for the Maison offered in several shades and materials, as well as the ‘Loubi Mystery’ capsule, a group of styles exploring the theme of murder-mystery games designed by Christian Louboutin and his dear friend Parisian artist Yaz Bukey. To further explore the capsule, select styles are showcased on metallic podiums located in the corner of the dome.
The promenade leads to two additional areas highlighting key themes from the Fall/Winter collection: the Greekaba capsule and new iterations of the Maison’s Carasky bag. Featured on concrete podiums, which pay homage to the architect’s creative universe, the Greekaba styles are an invitation to Athens and the Cyclades Islands of Greece to join in on the adventures of Christian Louboutin and Miss Tependris, a fictional character imagined by Konstantin Kakanias, a Greek artist and friend of the designer. A second space reveals some new iterations to the Carasky family of bags. Inspired by Christian Louboutin’s passion for gems and crowns, the offer is expanded with new mini bucket and crossbody styles, all accented by the iconic oversized jewel-like embellishments.
The full experience will also be revealed online with a livestream available on a dedicated website alongside the @louboutinworld social media channels.
