The Breizcaba bag collection

Breizcaba

For the past eight years, the Maison's trademark cabas has taken us on yet another international adventure in a bit to celebrate local artisans. This year, we're headed for Brittany in France, a region with a rich cultural heritage where Christian spent many of his childhood summers.

Breizh is for Brittany

Named after the Breton word for Brittany where Christian still has a house, the Breizcaba is brought to life by the region's exceptionally vivid lore, as well as its wealth of artisanal techniques.

Choices, choices

Ensuring a style for every occasion, the Breizcaba comes in a large roomy tote, as well as a mini bucket bag, both of which are crafted from embroidered canvas and felt, in either monochromatic black and white, or a burst of bright colors.

Mythical symbols

Paying tribute to “a region unlike any other", the Breizcaba features many traditional Breton elements such as the Triskelion, an ancient motif which has been reinterpreted as the pattern for the lining of the bag and is said to represent the journey of life. Christian himself loves to wear traditional Breton suits embroidered with the ancient folkloric techniques of Pontivy which serve as the inspiration for the intricate designs on the exterior of the bag and are thought to bring luck.

A question of savoir-faire

Entirely hand-crafted by female artisans from precious materials such as velvet and moiré silk, the couture mini bucket bags are available in four (very!) limited-edition styles and are set to become a collector's must-have.

One of a kind

Coming in four delightful couture iterations, the (very!) limited-edition mini Breizcaba bucket bag will exclusively be available at our Rodeo Drive boutique in Los Angeles.
